I bought the nailer to install 3/4 promenade wood flooring. Using the 16 gauge nailer, I was able to fire 2 trip brads throught the tongue of african rosewood flooring. A flooring nailer is recommended for this job but I was able to accurately hit the sweet station above the tongue every time. African rosewood is considerable harder than oak and the nailer handled the job without a pickle. I also like the versatility of having the 18 gauge nailer which I archaic to shoot 1-1/2 race brads through quarter round molding. This unit is light weight but has plenty of power. For $300, it is well worth the note.
I do a lot of drywall repair and re-texturing of ceilings & wall areas. I had to replace my frail compressor which weighed 50 lbs and was looking for something easier to carry. This compressor works beautiful, is easy to carry but does accelerate rude on compression sometimes because of the miniature tank. This has not been a pickle for me because it does recover quite fleet. I have really enjoyed the compressor in my day to day work and have also extinct both nail guns on a couple of projects. They worked well and made my jobs so powerful easier. I am really tickled that I made the choose.
I'm not a pro, so I considered purchasing a distinguished cheaper compressor and nail gun to install some natty in my home. I'm overjoyed I decided to employ the extra money for this tool. It's made installing the dapper a trip. I'm looking forward to tackling recent projects using this, and it's made me a believer in DeWalt products.
