Don't purchase this kit, utilize the extra $50.00 for the kit that has the VR 55-200zoom. I made this mistake and had to return the whole package. The VR (vibration reduction lens) makes it easier to win pictures without the need for a tripod. I actually upgraded to the 70-300VR zoom. What confused me was that the standard 18-55 lens is VR & I assumed the zoom was also VR.

I bought this package about one month ago, and I have traveled to upper NY with this. I shoot more than 2000 pics after my purchasing and I had a bit knowledge on camera before this camera since I've ragged Canon's Powershot series with manual settings.

This package contains one 18-55mm AF-S VR zoom lens that is useful for popular station and 55-200mm AF-S zoom lens for a bit more zooming. However, if you want to shoot things in long distance by 200mm zoom lens, it would be qualified to have a tripod unless you have proper skill to release. I feel like that I'm shooting a rifle when I'm using 200mm lens.

Packaging provided by the vendor is excellent and it was shipped in moderate time.

Also, Nikon's D60 is noble for beginners on D-SLR camera. Although the understanding finder of D60 doesn't offer 1:1 opinion and you would gain some noises when you assume ISO 1600, you would be generally pleased with the quality of pictures which you've taken.

If you are a valid beginner with SLR camera, then you would need to learn some basic skills to fully exhaust this righteous machine. Of course, you can exercise some preset modes that is also working very well in most celebrated region.

The Nikon D60 replaces the D40 quite adequately. It's honest good for digital photography enthusiasts who are ready to beget the leap from point-and-shoots and into SLRs. The particular outfit from CAMETA Camera was surprisingly useful and I would recommend it as a start-up kit for any enthusiast. Overall, the D60 is a colossal, easy to exercise DSLR.
