I purchased a Nikon L1 3 years ago and it died on me. I like Nikon products. I was in search for a smaller, faster camera. I was amazed at how cheap these cameras have gotten. This camera does not engage a long time between pictures like my frail one. The contrast in megapixiles is amazingly determined. The size is so tiny now that I am horrified about sitting on the camera when I build it in my pockets. Esteem this camera. Hope it lasts longer than the last but with technology hasty changing, I'm probably going to upgrade again anyway. Tall effect.

I aboslutely admire this product! It's perfect for any camera-lovers who don't know exactly what they're doing. It's easy and simple, but comes with a lot of awesome features.

I bought this camera because it had every feature I was looking for for candid child shots: true size, video capability, face focus. Unfortunately, after struggling with it for 6 weeks I returned it, since it's almost impossible to consistently engage decent shots without a ton of digital noise (speckles / grain in the shot) . My enormous clunky 10 year aged Cannon G-shot takes far superb photos. Even my tiny Casio Exilim, which occasionally has focus issues, and which I bought the Nikon to replace, is diagram better. The Coolpix shots watch a bit like those from my 7-year old's kid camera. There's no scheme I can consume most of the photos I took, either on the auto settings, or when I tried to adjust them manually. Interestingly enough, when I took it help to Costco where I bought it, the camera guy checking in the return told me (quite casually), "Oh yes, these are bad cameras." Don't demolish your time & money.
